Is the public ferry the same as a boat tour?

No. Navigazione Laghi runs scheduled transport between towns. A guided or private cruise adds commentary, a fixed circuit or chosen stops. Compare the route and departure pier before paying more.

Can I visit Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio in one day?
